Weather has been beautiful, although a bit cold. But the forecast is for a warmup this weekend, so perhaps I can get out to do some shooting.
Geezer's Luncheon yesterday - I stopped by to pick up Erv. I hadn't seen him since he had his stroke about 18 months ago, and I think it's been about that long since he has been to the luncheon. So it was both a nice thing for him to be able to get out, and I enjoyed seeing him again.
Getting ready to issue the Call for Papers for 2007. Can't imagine that this will be by third year as EiC! Things are rocking along fairly well - Tony is getting close to hanging it up, and I have a tentative plan for dealing with that when it happens. Geri is filling in for Pat - I hope they have someone at the POE meeting that we can start working into the process.
Tomorrow the priority has got to be income taxes. I've gotten Jeff's done - but Linda's and mine are the real challenge and I want to get it behind me. Linda will be working all day tomorrow, so perhaps I can do the taxes and also experiment a bit with the VDB process now that I have the UV box complete and the chemicals arrived (today).
I've just about decided to go to Tillman's workshop at Peters Valley in July. There will be shooting opportunities in the early morning and late afternoon, and the opportunity to learn Pt/Pd printing would be neat. And of course, Tillman is such a great guy to hang out with, as well as being an inspiration. If we could only tie down a reservation at a condo on the Cape - I woudl really like to know that we have that resolved before i start locking up weekends.
This image is the first print I have made from our trip to Beijing in October. Don't know why it has taken me so long to get started printing these images. There aren't a lot that I really want to print, but this one is neat.
