Wet Sunday

Glasses

Very busy week finalizing the publication plan for 2006. Finished this morning, and sent the final plan to all authors. Very frustrating that one author neglected to respond to the invitation until several weeks past the deadline, and even then he didn't submit the required information. He gave an open promise that he would get around to supplying the information without saying when. Well, he's going onto the reserve list.

Was advised this week that Parking Garage was accepted for the Albany Undergound Artists Institute Show next month. Great! I cut a mat for it this afternoon, and will frame it when I get back the entry from the Saratoga Inside/Out show.

Getting ready to go to Peters Valley this week. Spending a weekend with Ernie Rubin is fun, and PV is very relaxing.

Sealed the driveway on Friday. Last year, Tom Kimbal told me that it took three pails - so I bought three. Then, Linda made a dash to Home Despot for a fourth, and then another trip to Allerdice for a fifth. Big driveway!

Linda discovered that our CD player has been trashed today. Don't know how it happened - or who did it. Both she and Jeff have been using it. Oh well, it's about 15 years old and probably deserves to be replaced just because of its age.

This picture is another negative scan from the Wine Train trip a couple of weeks ago. The Niebaum Coppola merlot was excellent!
